The Sun, Judgement and the World
The end of the journey: The Sun's joy, Judgement's call and The World's completion, read from their pictures, across their range and against the cards they are confused with.
In this lesson you will
- Recognize The Sun, Judgement and The World from their key symbols.
- Read each card across its range, upright and reversed, without treating bright cards as promises.
- Tell The Sun from the Six of Wands, Judgement from Death and The World from the Ten of Cups.
After years of evening classes you finally finish your degree. At the ceremony you feel three things at once: plain joy, a quiet call toward what comes next, and the sense that a whole chapter is complete.
The end of the journey
The last three Majors are The Sun (XIX), Judgement (XX) and The World (XXI). The Sun is joy and clarity in full daylight. Judgement is an awakening, a call you hear and answer. The World is completion: a cycle closed, and everything you learned along the way brought together.
These are the most hopeful cards of the deck, and they still need careful reading. Joy is not a promise that nothing will go wrong, and completion is not the end of growth. Each of them also has a shadow.
When one of them appears, ask what is being celebrated, what is calling you, or what is ready to be completed.
