By using Veil Soul, you agree to these terms. Veil Soul provides digital tarot interpretations for entertainment and personal reflection; it does not provide professional advice or guaranteed outcomes.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your credentials secure and provide accurate information.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and personally. Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, abuse, impersonate another person, or use our content to train another AI system.
Changes and availability
We may change or discontinue features, or update these terms, when necessary. We will provide notice of material changes where appropriate. The service is provided as available.
Plus subscription
Plus is an optional paid subscription. When you buy it, these terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service above.
- Billing: Dodo Payments sells Plus as merchant of record. It takes the payment, charges any tax, and issues invoices and receipts. Its buyer terms and refund policy also apply to the payment.
- Renewal and price: Plus renews automatically every month or every year at the current price until you cancel. We may change the price; a new price applies from the first renewal after we have told you by email, and you can cancel before then if you do not agree.
- Cancellation: cancel from Account → Plan → “Manage subscription”. To stop the next charge, cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period: you are not charged again, and Plus stays on until then.
- Refunds: payments are non-refundable, including unused parts of a period, because Plus starts as soon as you pay. The exceptions are a charge made in error (such as a duplicate charge), a refund Dodo Payments grants under its buyer terms, and a refund the law requires.
- Failed payments: if a renewal cannot be charged, Plus continues while Dodo Payments retries the payment, and ends if the payment is not completed.
- What Plus includes: the Plus page describes it. We may add, change or remove Plus features and limits to keep the service running and improving; if a change significantly reduces what Plus offers, you may cancel.
- Suspension: if you break these terms, misuse Plus, or dispute a charge with your card issuer without first contacting us or Dodo Payments, we may suspend or end Plus without a refund.
- Availability: Plus is provided as available. Maintenance or a temporary outage does not give a right to a refund, unless the law requires one.
- Liability: as far as the law allows, our liability relating to Plus is limited to what you paid for Plus in the 12 months before the claim. This limit does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
- Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately; the rest of the paid period is not refunded. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Privacy Policy
This notice explains what Veil Soul currently stores and why. We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, authentication provider, and a password hash when you use email sign-in.
- Reading details: your question, selected spread/cards, generated interpretation, and saved reading timestamps.
- Operational data: security and rate-limit signals such as IP address and request metadata.
- Preferences and aggregate product signals: language, theme, timezone, onboarding choices, and allowlisted daily counters such as whether a search returned results. Product counters do not contain your query, user or device identifiers, email, token, or IP address.
- Daily notifications, only if you turn them on: the address your browser’s push service issues for that device and the keys used to encrypt to it. The notification travels through your browser maker’s push service (such as Google, Mozilla, Microsoft or Apple), not through an advertising or analytics tracker, and says only that today’s card is waiting. Turning it off on a device, or deleting your account, removes that address.
- Subscription details, only if you buy Plus: the customer and subscription identifiers Dodo Payments assigns, the subscription status, and the date your Plus ends. Card details never reach Veil Soul.
How we use it
- Provide readings, account access, saved-reading history, and the card and editorial catalogue.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and diagnose operational failures.
- Send transactional account messages such as verification and password-reset email.
- We use first-party aggregate counters to improve core journeys and content readiness. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Service providers
We may process data with infrastructure, authentication, email, and AI providers needed to operate a requested feature. Providers receive only the data needed for that purpose; we do not sell it.
Payments
Dodo Payments, the merchant of record for Plus, collects your name, email address, billing address and payment details to take the payment, calculate tax and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy. It tells Veil Soul when a subscription starts, renews or ends; we keep the change it makes to your plan and a fingerprint of each notice, not the notice itself. Deleting your account cancels an active subscription; Dodo Payments keeps its transaction records for as long as the law requires.
Retention and deletion
Reading, journal, and account records remain while your account is active. Items removed from Reading history or Journal may remain hidden for recovery or retention and are identified in your export. Deleting your account permanently erases this private content and profile data; non-identifying operational records may remain for security and reliability.
Your choices
From Account settings you can download a machine-readable copy of your data or permanently delete your account after confirming your identity. You may contact us about correction or any retained operational record; we will verify the request and explain why retention is required.

- These are plain links. Veil Soul adds no tracking script, pixel or cookie for them; once you leave this site, the store’s own policies apply.
- When the deck link points to Amazon, it is an Amazon Associates link: as an Amazon Associate, Veil Soul earns from qualifying purchases.
Embeddable widget
Anyone may put the Veil Soul card-of-the-day widget on their own site. It shows the same card every guest sees on the Daily page that day, with a link back to it.
- Loading the widget is an ordinary file request. It then asks Veil Soul once for today's card; that request carries no cookie and no referrer, and the widget sets no cookie or storage in the visitor's browser.
- It loads no analytics, advertising or tracking script, and Veil Soul counts nothing about the page or its visitors. As with any request, our servers handle the visitor's IP address for security and rate limits, as described above.
- The site that embeds the widget has its own policies. Veil Soul does not control that page and receives nothing from it beyond the request for the card.
