Love questions within your reach
Turn the love questions that keep you up at night into questions within your reach: what you feel, what you want and what you can do.
In this lesson you will
- Sort a love question into what is within your reach and what is not.
- Rewrite crush, dating and breakup questions so that you are their subject.
- Choose a calm moment and one draw for a love question.
It is late, you have reread the same message three times, and the question that rises is Does she like me back? Love questions arrive with more feeling than any other kind. That is exactly why they need the most careful wording before you draw.
Your reach and theirs
Every love question touches two people, but a reading can only work with one of them: you. Draw a line through the question. On your side lie your feelings, your hopes, your fears, what you say and what you do.
- Within your reach: what you feel, what you want, what you fear, and what you can say or do next.
- Outside your reach: what they feel, what they will decide, when they will write, and how the story ends.
A good love question stays on your side of the line. Does she like me back? becomes What do I want her to know about how I feel? The longing stays the same, and the reading now has something it can answer.
Warm up
A quick look back before the new material. Recalling helps you remember.
Warm-up
You want to draw a card, perhaps the Two of Cups, about someone you are dating. Which rewrite of “Does he love me?” keeps the reading about what you can know and do?
Warm-up
You ask “What do I need today?” and draw the Four of Swords, which feels flat to you. Which next step keeps to one question, one draw?
Look first

Look at this card before reading on. How fast is the rider moving, and what is he holding out in front of him?
Remember
- A love question touches two people, but a reading can only work with your side: your feelings, wishes and next step.
- Check every love question for subject, action and picture before you draw.
- Draw when you can read calmly, and keep to one question, one draw.
