Reading honestly: five checks for any reading
Bring the course together into five checks you can run on any reading, your own, a friend's or an AI's, so readings stay specific, fair and yours to act on.
In this lesson you will
- Run five checks on a reading: question, specific lines, both layers, coincidence held lightly, and a look-back day.
- Apply the same checks to a reading written by AI, VeilSoul's included.
- Answer Is tarot real? honestly, without overselling it or dismissing it.
You finish a three-card reading written by an AI, and it reads beautifully. Every sentence sounds wise. A day later you try to remember what it asked you to do, and you cannot find a single thing.
Five checks for any reading
This course has looked at why readings feel true: words that fit anyone, patterns in chance, memory that keeps the hits, coincidences that feel like signs, and pictures that mirror the viewer. None of this makes readings useless. It means a good reading needs a few checks, the way a good argument needs a few facts.
- Question. Is it open, about your own choices, and in scope? (Asking good questions)
- Specific. Does each line rest on a detail, a position and your question, so that it could turn out wrong?
- Both layers. Did you write down your first reaction and check it against the card's range?
- Held lightly. Are repeats and coincidences treated as invitations rather than orders?
- Look-back. Is there a day on which you will score it as Fit, Partly or Missed?
