Reversed, Justice shows you being blamed for a decision that was not yours. Someone let the misunderstanding stand because it was convenient, and several people now hold the wrong version. This one is worth correcting, once, plainly, to the person who matters most.

The Devil says one person keeps your name in their mouth because it is useful to them. The talk is not really about you — it holds a group together or keeps attention where they want it. Nothing you do changes this. Refusing to react is what starves it.

Reversed, the Devil shows you giving a rumour more power than it has. You have rehearsed a conversation about it, checked for signs of it, and let it shape how you enter a room. The talk is small; the grip you have allowed it is not. Put it down deliberately.

Upright

The Star says people speak of you as someone they would go to in a bad week. It is not said often or to your face, and it is the most reliable kind of regard. You are underestimating your standing by measuring it in invitations rather than in who calls when it matters.

Reversed

Reversed, the Star shows people who have stopped expecting you to show up. Cancellations added up, and now you are talked about kindly and not counted on. This is repairable and only by attendance — say yes to the next ordinary thing and arrive.

Upright

The Moon says what is said about you is mostly guesswork. You keep enough of yourself out of view that people fill the space with a story, and the story is neither kind nor cruel — it is invented. Let one or two of them know something true and the guessing loses its material.

Reversed

Reversed, the Moon says the suspicion you feel is not matched by anything real. You have been reading tone, timing and silences as evidence, and there is no conversation happening behind you of the kind you fear. The discomfort is yours to put down.

The Sun says the talk is good and open. People say you are easy to be around, and they say it in front of others without lowering their voice. There is no second layer to look for here; what is said to you and what is said about you are the same thing.

Reversed, the Sun shows a version of you that circulates from an easier year. People describe someone lighter than you have felt recently, and the gap between the two is tiring to maintain. Letting one person see the harder version costs less than keeping up the brighter one.

Upright

The Three of Cups says you are missed when you are not there. Your name comes up warmly, someone repeats something you said, and the group is genuinely better with you in it. This is one of the times the answer is simply pleasant — take it at face value.

Asked what is said when you are not there, the Seven of Swords shows one person speaking differently about you in different rooms. Warm to your face, edged elsewhere, and doing it for position rather than out of dislike. You already suspect who. Share less with that person, and nothing sharp.

Reversed, the Seven of Swords shows the double-talk coming apart. What was said behind you is reaching the people it was said to, and they are the ones adjusting their opinion — of the speaker, not of you. Say nothing. This one resolves better without your help.

Upright

The Page of Swords says someone is asking questions about you rather than making claims. Curiosity, not campaign — often from a person deciding whether to trust you with something. Answer the questions when they reach you directly and the interest turns into an ally.

Reversed

Reversed, the Page of Swords shows a half-true story travelling quickly. Someone repeated a fragment without the context, and it is being passed on by people with no stake in it at all. Give the full version to one well-connected person; the correction travels the same road.

Upright

The Queen of Swords says you are spoken of as someone who is honest and slightly hard to be around. People trust your judgement and do not always want it, and both halves of that are said in the same breath. The clarity is worth keeping; the delivery is the part you can soften.

Reversed

Reversed, the Queen of Swords shows a reputation for coldness you did not earn. One remark, made when you had nothing left to give, has become the story of what you are like. People who know you do not believe it; people who do not know you have no reason to doubt it.
