Reversed, the partnership on offer is being decided by guilt rather than fit. Someone assumes they are included, or you assume you owe them a place, and neither of you has said the terms out loud. Do this alone rather than half-together; an unspoken arrangement will cost you the friendship as well as the work.

Upright

For getting this moving, the Chariot leans toward alone at the wheel: one person deciding, others helping. Shared control is what has slowed the last attempt, with two people each waiting for the other to commit first. Take the reins openly, say you are taking them, and keep the help without splitting the decision.

Reversed

Reversed, doing it all yourself has become the reason nothing arrives. You are steering, pushing and carrying, and the momentum you keep waiting for needs a second pair of hands on the mechanical part. Hand over one whole task, not a fragment of one, and stop checking it every evening.

Upright

For this one, the Hermit leans clearly toward alone, at least for the first stretch. What you are building still changes shape when it meets an opinion, and bringing someone in now means finishing their version of it. Work on it privately until you can describe it in one sentence without adjusting for the listener.

Reversed

Reversed, the solitude has stopped protecting the work and started protecting you from being seen. Notice how long it has been since anyone outside your head heard the whole plan. Keep the making solitary if you like, but bring one person in as a witness this month, chosen for honesty rather than warmth.

Justice answers with someone, provided the terms are written before the work starts. Who owns what, how it is split, what happens if one of you leaves halfway. If naming those terms feels like an insult to the person, that reaction is the information: this partnership is running on goodwill where it needs an agreement.

Reversed, an existing arrangement is tilted and you have been absorbing the difference quietly. Doing the next part alone is tempting as a way of avoiding that conversation, but it only moves the imbalance somewhere you cannot see it. Say what the split actually is now, and decide about company afterwards.

Temperance suggests neither all alone nor fully shared, but a clear seam between the two. Decide which parts only you can do and which you would genuinely rather hand over, then write the line down before anyone starts. Most collaborations fail at the place where both people assumed the other was handling it.

Reversed

Reversed, the mix is uneven in a way both of you can feel. One side is doing the visible work while the other does the remembering and the chasing, and neither has named it. Before adding anybody else, redraw the division you already have; bringing in a third person will not fix a two-person imbalance.

The World reads this as a finishing question rather than a starting one, and it leans toward alone for the last stretch. Whatever is nearly done is yours to close, and handing it over now would mostly be a way of not signing your name to it. Bring people in for what comes after.

That makes this a good week to choose company deliberately rather than collapse into it: one task delegated properly beats three abandoned quietly. Say which piece you are giving up, and to whom, before exhaustion makes the selection for you.

With someone, and the card is talking about a specific one rather than a team. Two of Cups favours the arrangement where both of you carry real weight and neither is the assistant, which usually means one person whose judgement you trust more than your own on a bad day. That kind of pairing is worth reorganising around.

Reversed, the pairing you are considering is unequal in a way that will show up later as resentment. One of you would be deciding and the other agreeing, and both of you would call it collaboration for a while. Either rewrite the terms so the quieter side has a real veto, or do this alone.

With others, though the card is careful about which part. Three of Cups supports shared beginnings and shared celebration, and says nothing kind about shared accounts or shared deadlines. Do the enjoyable part together, then decide privately who is responsible for the parts that have consequences.

Reversed, the group around this is louder than it is useful. Several people have opinions, one or two are enjoying the drama, and the actual work has been sitting untouched for a fortnight. Step back from the crowd and either work alone or keep exactly one collaborator, chosen for what they do rather than how encouraging they are.

The warning here is about the kind of alone you would end up with. Five of Swords describes winning the argument for sole control and then discovering the people who would have helped have stopped offering. If you take this on yourself, do it without needing to be proved right about it first.

Reversed, an old falling-out is deciding this for you. Someone who would be the obvious partner is excluded because of how something ended, and you have been calling that a practical decision. Either make contact and find out whether it still stands, or choose alone for a reason you could say out loud.

This is the clearest with someone card in the deck, and it is specific about the kind of someone: a person with a skill you do not have, working to an agreed plan. Not moral support, not company. Name the missing craft, find the person who has it, and pay or trade for it properly.

Reversed

Reversed, you are working beside people rather than with them. Everyone is busy on the same thing with a slightly different picture of what finished looks like, which shows up as rework rather than argument. Spend one hour agreeing the definition of done before you decide whether you need anyone else at all.

Upright

Alone, and not as a consolation. The Nine of Pentacles points to the quiet advantage of answering to nobody here: you can move at your own speed, change direction without a meeting, and keep what it earns. Accept help that is paid for and bounded, but keep the ownership single.

Reversed

Reversed, independence has hardened into a rule you no longer examine. Doing everything yourself started as freedom and is now partly a way of never being disappointed by anyone, and it is costing you speed. Let one person do one thing badly this month; the standard survives, and so does the schedule.
