1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old to register and use this service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2. Permitted Use

Veil Soul is a personal wellness and entertainment platform. You agree to use it only for lawful, personal purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Automate, scrape, or data-mine our AI readings or card database without written permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm other users.
• Publish, resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute reading outputs in any form.
• Systematically record, screenshot, or reproduce readings for redistribution or archival beyond personal use.
• Use any content, reading outputs, or data from this platform to train, fine-tune, or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model.
• Attempt to probe or exploit security vulnerabilities.
• Use stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods to purchase any service.
• Initiate fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting our support team.
• Create accounts using false identity information or on behalf of minors under 18.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on Veil Soul — including tarot card artwork, reading interpretations, UI design, and AI models — is the exclusive intellectual property of Veil Soul or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. No content may be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription ("VIP"). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis through our payment processor (PayPal). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your statement will show charges from "MYSTICTAROT".

• All services are digital content delivered instantly upon purchase.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• If you have any billing concerns, please contact our support team directly before initiating a dispute with your payment provider.

5. Modifications & Termination

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after such notification constitutes acceptance. We may also suspend or terminate the service or your access at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

• We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated reading or content.
• Your use of the service is at your sole risk. No advice or information obtained through the service creates any warranty not expressly stated herein.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• Veil Soul, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid to Veil Soul in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).
• This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Veil Soul, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any fraudulent or unauthorized payment activity associated with your account.

9. Service Availability

Veil Soul strives to maintain high availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance (with or without prior notice).
• Third-party service outages (cloud providers, AI model providers, payment processors).
• Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions. No refunds or credits will be issued for periods of unavailability.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. By using this service, regardless of your country of residence, you agree to the dispute resolution process outlined below.

• Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation by contacting support@veilsoul.com.
• If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under internationally recognized arbitration rules, at a location determined by Veil Soul.
• You agree to waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits, class-wide arbitration, or jury trials against Veil Soul.
• The prevailing party in any dispute shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
• Any claim must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or be permanently barred.

We comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction to the extent required. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived by contract under your local law.

Veil Soul provides digital entertainment content that is delivered instantly upon purchase. Because of the nature of digital goods, all sales are considered final once the purchased service has been accessed or used.

1. Refund Eligibility

• Once a reading has been generated or digital content has been accessed, the service is considered fully delivered and is not eligible for automatic refund.
• If you believe there is a billing error, technical issue that prevented service delivery, or other exceptional circumstance, you may submit a refund request for review.
• Refund requests are reviewed individually on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must submit a support ticket through one of the following channels:

• In-app: Go to Account Settings → Support → Submit a Ticket

Please include your account email, transaction ID, date of purchase, and a brief description of the reason for your request. We will review and respond to all refund requests within 3-5 business days.

3. Subscription Cancellation

• You may cancel your VIP subscription at any time from your Account Settings page.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to VIP features until that date.
• No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days of an active billing period.
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier. Your reading history and journal entries are retained.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion to allow recovery. If you sign in within 30 days, your account and all associated data (including reading history and journal entries) will be fully restored. After the 30-day grace period, your account and all personal data are permanently deleted. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Protecting your data is a core responsibility we take seriously. We implement multiple layers of security to ensure your information remains private and safe.

Incident Response

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we commit to:

• Notify affected users within 72 hours of confirming the breach.
